Spain is a perfect mix of natural landscapes. Between mountain ranges such as the the Pyrenees and the Iberian Rim Mountains, a dreamy coast line, crystal-clear sea, and a varied flora, Spain is a country that simply has it all. Spain's fauna is almost unmatched in Europe, with many species that have been eradicated in the rest of Western Europe or only found in Africa and the Near East. Among these are bears, lynxes, giant lizards, wolves, ibex, mongoose, and chamois. Spain is also known world-wide for its traditional festivals, such as "Corrida de toros" or "La Tomatina". Spanish people, like most Mediterraneans, are known for their warmth, hospitality, and attachment to culture. A high school stay in the Iberic Peninsula is the perfect choice for students who want to spend time in a lively, colorful, and culture rich destination.
