On Sunday you'll land at Nice airport. From there it's a quick journey to the center of the city and your hotel.
Your French course begins in the morning, giving you a chance to polish up your French skills before the evening. After your day's lessons, you're invited to a glass of champagne to kick off the trip before going on a tour through the old town of Nice.
In the afternoon we'll go high up to the top of castle hill (Colline du Chateau) to enjoy a magnificent view over the city of Nice. What better way to practice using the vocabulary from the morning than at a picnic?
Art is a part of Nice and, of course, our activity program. We'll visit the Musée des Beaux-Arts on Wednesday, giving you an insight into the diverse creative work of French painters.
As exquisite and stylish as life in the city, the flora and fauna of the botanical garden "Phoenix Parc Floral de Nice" is sure to dazzle you. With more than 150 animal species and over 2500 plant species in 6 climatic zones, this park is unique in Europe.
The week ends on Friday with a visit to a fantastic restaurant. Enjoy delicious and sophisticated French cuisine. The best part: The first round is on us!
You can't come to the Côte d'Azur without visiting Monaco. Why? It's where the rich and beautiful meet, and will sweep you off your feet.
On Sunday we leave you to your own devices to spend your day as you wish. Relax on the beach, eat ice cream or stroll along the promenade. In one of the most attractive cities in the world, whatever you do will be a delight.
It's normally while drinking a glass of red wine that one thinks of France. It tastes better when you're actually in France though. And even better during a professional wine tasting. Santé!
On Tuesday we'll take you on a boat trip along the French Riviera. Get another perspective and admire the beautiful coastline from the sea.
As you will have learnt during the wine tasting, there is a suitable piece of cheese for every fine drop. To enable you to actively experience the delicacy that is French cheese, we'll visit a dairy farm and introduce you to a different part of French culture.
The art and regional history of the Belle Epoque can be discovered in the Musée Masséna. There you'll find paintings, sculptures, arts and crafts, jewelery and furniture from this period. Particularly noteworthy are Napoleon Bonaparte's mask and his first wife's mother-of-pearl tiara.
On the last evening you'l realise how far your French has come. An entertaining play awaits you in the theater "La Comédie de Nice". Let yourself be surprised!
